I just ran across this podcast after finding out about an interview with @The KinnyLandrum whom I’ve been fortunate enough to network with for the past year and he just knocked it out of the park with his insights and stories from having been in the car business for over a decade. I really like the Hennessey’s way of presenting their interviews which I find very similar to the news reports on NPR, which is great in and of itself, but also kind of gives a Saturday Night Live kind of vibe in my view because it almost comes off as a spoof that’s not really a spoof at all and winds up being very informative. It’s not your typical podcast and it’s not a podcast about the same old regurgitated information you’ll hear across the spectrum.

Obviously this day and age there are several avenues in finding ways to “sharpen your saw.” I’ve been in sales my whole life, with the last ten years being in automotive. Patrick and Courtney’s approach and direction could be useful in any line of sales. Their approach to “car sales” using actual salespeople describing the styles and processes with real customers on a daily basis makes the podcast truly unique to breaking away from the stereotypical process of visiting a car dealership. Great content, great production, can’t wait for future episodes!

I have to tell you I really enjoyed listening. It really goes to show you that it is not just about selling. It is so important to also market yourself. While this is geared toward car sales the principles can be applied to all forms of sales and marketing. I was really impressed by the well thought out “real world” interviews with some great people. This is a really well done podcast. Nice Job.
